Our History

Glenn & Dawson, LLP was founded in 1998 by Donald A. Glenn and Leslie O. Dawson. The predecessor, Glenn Accountancy Corporation was founded by Donald Glenn in 1975.

The world around us changes constantly. Our Firm is an evolving organization that continues to keep pace with an ever changing profession. We work closely with our clients to assist with achievement of both business and personal goals.

Our goals, however, remain:

  1. Provide high quality accounting, auditing, tax, litigation, and management advisory services to individuals and privately owned companies.
  2. Provide knowledgeable litigation support and valuation services to clients, referring attorneys and the courts.
  3. Be actively involved in professional, business, community, and civic affairs.
  4. Offer personalized service on a timely basis.

Donald A. Glenn CPA,ABV,CVA,CFE
Donald A. Glenn is a certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of CPAs, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Valuation Analyst with over 30 years experience. He is frequently a Court-appointed expert in California Superior and Federal Bankruptcy Courts.

Mr. Glenn was the founding chair of the California Society of CPAs Family Law Section and author of the California Society of CPA's Family Law Workshop course. He was the first recipient of the California Society of CPA's Family Law Section's "Distinguished Service Award" for his contributions to forensic accounting.

Leslie O. Dawson, CPA,ABV,CVA
Leslie Dawson is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited by the America Institute of CPAs in Business Valuation and a Certified Valuation Analyst. She has been appointed Court's Expert in the California Superior Courts. Ms. Dawson has lectured to judges, attorneys, CPAs and other groups on tax and forensic accounting and has authored numerous articles.

Ms. Dawson is the Current Chair of the California Society of CPA's Family Law Section and has served as chair of the state-wide Family Law Conference. She is currently the chair of the East Bay Litigation Services Committee.
